Senior and staff technical writer for software, cloud, and API documentation
I'm a technical writer in Kitchener, Ontario. For more than 15 years I've written documentation for enterprise software, cloud platforms, APIs, and hardware, most recently at Trustly, Snowflake, Great Expectations, and Astronomer. At Trustly I moved the developer portal to Fern and pushed for a structure built around the tasks developers are trying to do.
I'm comfortable with docs-as-code workflows: Git, Markdown, and OpenAPI. As a solo, remote writer, I use AI every day for peer reviews and information architecture refinement, and I've built my own tools with it, including a daily job-search script I share with other writers.
Away from the keyboard, you'll find me hiking, cycling, spending time with my family, or geeking out on anything that moves. I'm a certified car nerd, and I can tell you in exhausting detail how to safely crank start a 1915 International Harvester truck.
